Legislative Reforms
Some laws are archaic – and struggle to keep pace with the rapidly changing realities of the modern world. Some laws were narrowly conceived and fail to address the issues at hand in totality. Some laws are not there altogether in the statute books and need to be initiated. Some laws are desirable, yet no one is taking the first step. Some laws need amendments here or there to make them effective. The Nexus would thus take upon itself to do the needful in each of these scenarios, as and when required. We would not just criticise or point out, we would come up with practical solutions. We would help improve the existing laws and assist in drafting newer ones. And not just laws, we would do our bit to improve and strengthen the entire judicial system, be it the police, prosecution, legal fraternity or those who sit on the bench!
