Legislative Reforms
Some laws are archaic – and struggle to keep pace with the rapidly changing realities of the modern world. Some laws were narrowly conceived and fail to address the issues at hand in totality. Some laws need some tinkering, here or there, to make them effective. Some laws are desirable, yet no one is taking the first step. The Nexus would thus take upon itself to do the needful in each of these scenarios, as and when required. We would not just point out, we would rather come up with practical solutions. We would help improve the existing laws and assist in drafting newer ones. And not just laws, we would do our bit to improve and strengthen the entire judicial system, be it the police, prosecution, legal fraternity or those who sit on the bench!
